Artist Statement:

Blue Sea, Vibrant cloth was inspired by African cloth/fabric, it is about the beautiful. I wanted to create a piece that wasn’t just a representation of cloth but showed the richness and beauty it possesses and a culture behind it. When you look around the world even in circumstances that aren’t ideal there is a sense of beauty through fabrics that contrast sometimes harsh realities.
