ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Anders Bergstrom currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Bergstrom’s work is in the collections of The New York Public Library, University of New Hampshire, Beinecke Library at Yale University, Smith College Museum of Art, MA, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

Victoire Bourgois was born in Paris, France, and now lives in New York. Her work is interdisciplinary and deeply rooted in her fascination with the natural world and its impermanence. Bourgois holds a degree in literature and semiotics from l’Ecole Normale Supérieure, and a MFA from New York University.

Katherine Bradford is a painter who splits her time between New York and Maine. Bradford has shown her work in New York at PS1, The Brooklyn Museum, The Frye Museum of Art, and the Canada Gallery. In addition, her work is in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Brooklyn Museum, and The Portland Museum of Art.

Daniel Clarke is a painter and printmaker who lives in Paris, France. He graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor’s BA in painting and printmaking and has exhibited internationally in numerous solo exhibitions.

Greg Foley is an artist, author, and designer living in Austin, Texas. He has collaborated on creative projects with companies such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Warner Bros. Records, Sony Playstation, Gap, Levi’s, Gucci, and Tiffany&Co., and developed cutting-edge projects with New York fashion designers, artists, and musicians. His contributions have been exhibited at institutions such as The Museum of Modern Art New York and the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris.

Glenn Goldberg often utilizes a grisaille palette to create eclectic pieces with intricate detail. Born in the Bronx, works in Brooklyn, and lives in Manhattan, his sources of inspiration include tapestries, ancient calligraphy, and decorative rugs.

Victoria Haven was born in Seattle, Washington, and is based there. She creates drawings and paintings which are reputed for exploring the spaces between two and three dimensions. She uses tape, rubber bands, and steel to explore the differences between real and imagined space.

Nina Jordan is a painter and printmaker living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She is the recipient of a NYFA fellowship in printmaking and artists’ books. Her prints and artists’ books are in many collections, including the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, the New York Public Library, the Yale University Art Gallery, and the University of Richmond Museums.

Matt Magee is a multidisciplinary artist currently living in Scottsdale, AZ. Magee is best known for his min- imalist abstract geometric works. Magee’s repertoire includes paintings, sculptures, photography, assem- blages, and murals.

Ruth Lingen lives and works in New York City, where she has established a distinguished twenty-year ca- reer as a master printer and book artist. Lingen has collaborated with over 70 celebrated artists, including Jim Dine, Robert Creely, KiKi Smith, Chuck Close, Jim Dine, Leonardo Drew, Shepard Fairey, James Siena, and Robert Ryman. Lingen received a BFA from the University of South Dakota and an MFA in 1984 from the University of Madison, Wisconsin.

Martin Mazorra is a printmaker and artist based in Brooklyn, New York, originally from West Virginia. Ma- zorra’s images and text add contemporary, prurient twists to this tradition of secret sentimentality.

John Mitchell received his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1995 and his MFA from Yale University in 1999. Mitchell lives and works in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where he continues to paint from direct observation.

Rachel Ostrow is a Brooklyn-based painter and printmaker. Ostrow’s paintings use movement and light to explore space and form and skirt the line between abstraction and representation.

Naho Taruishi lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has been shown locally and abroad, including at Planthouse Gallery, The Drawing Center, Artists Space, A.I.R. Gallery in New York.
