In today’s world, America is more divided than ever, disunited over myriad social issues. These schisms run deep, creating the fractured system that Fragment Flag addresses.

MATT MAGEE (1961) was born in Paris, France and has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and a Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona. Magee’s work is held in the collections of Museum Fine Arts Houston, Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, University of New Mexico Art Museum, Phoenix Art Museum, Albuquerque Art Museum, Columbus Museum of Art, JP Morgan Chase Art Collection, New York and Twitter Inc., San Francisco.
